Rosamund was born in to a family of talented performers: her mother (Caroline) is an established opera singer and her father (Julian) is a concert violinist. She is an only child and grew up in West London, although they did move around quite a bit when she was young.

Many friends and family call her 'Ros'.

With such musical parents, it is not surprising that Rosamund is also talented on the Piano and Cello.

She went to boarding school in Bristol and, at 16, joined the National Youth Theatre..

After her A-levels, she studied English Literature at Wadham College, Oxford. She had the occasion to spend some time with Chelsea Clinton during her time at Oxford.
