• She wasn't asked to do the Buffy TV series because the producers felt she looked too old to play a teenager.  The part was given to Sarah Michelle Gellar who has since shot to superstardom.

• Kristy said in an interview I've found on the net that she had no problems doing the lesbian love scene with Jennifer Connelly in "Higher Learning". She said that every girl is curious how it feels like to kiss another girl and to kiss a beautiful girl like Jennifer was really great.

• Kristy has been involved with Thursday's Child, a non-profit organization to help troubled teens, since she was 15 and is currently their longest-standing celebrity member.

A decade ago it seemed as if she was headed for superstardom, but now Kristy is only starring in straight-to-video & made-for-cable movies.  I am not quite sure what happened because she has always been ridiculously beautiful and I always thought she was a very talented actress.  I guess she just chose a few too many of the wrong roles along the way.  I think the best way for her to get back into the loop is to go the independent route.  Maybe that way she can get her name back on the A-List.
