Born Kelly Palzis on October 13, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  5' 6'' Tall.

At the age of 16, a fashion photographer discovered Preston and helped her get gigs in commercials and an audition for The Blue Lagoon.  Although she lost the role of Emmeline to Brooke Shields, Preston first received attention for her work in comedic roles in films such as Mischief and Secret Admirer, both released in 1985.

She majored in drama at the University of Southern California.

Studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse.

She dated Charlie Sheen and George Clooney.

Married to John Travolta.  They are Scientologists.

Her life, particularly in their Maine summer home, is "very Norman Rockwell," she says. She has spent the summer making jam and baking pies, "and running through the sprinkler," activities she lists while smiling just the sort of smile that indicates she knows how ridiculously wholesome it all sounds.

She once had a pet pig.

Salary - $1,000,000 per film.
