She is 5' 7'' tall.
Amanda grew up in New York with her older sister and their parents, Charles, a lawyer, and Penny, a social worker.
She was educated at an all-girls prep school in London.
Graduated from Columbia University in 1994. She studied history.
She studied acting with Uta Hagen for four years.
The blue-eyed brunette has been working steadily in television and movies since 1995.
Amanda has had roles on many hit TV shows, including: Seinfeld, Law & Order, Spin City, The Single Guy, Central Park West and Partners.
After a number of supporting roles in independent films, some of which didn't get wide distribution, she finally broke through with a great performance in Bruce Willis' 2000 hit 'The Whole Nine Yards'. Since then she has been steadily climbing the A-List ladder.
She was named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World by 'People Magazine'.
Amanda is great friends with Lauren Holly.
She doesn't exercise, telling Cosmopolitan magazine, "I'd rather get drunk and eat some great pasta Alfredo," and prefers Coca-Cola to water.
Amanda has always been a bit of a tomboy.
She has the most beautiful smile and an infectious laugh.
Dave Letterman & Richard Roeper have both declared that they have huge crushes on our lovely girl.

Her small, but magnificent, performance in 'Changing Lanes', a film that wasn't particularly memorable otherwise, was one of the most powerful scenes of the past few years. I thought she deserved a best supporting actress Oscar nomination.

I am hopeful and confident that Amanda will rise to the top of the A-List so that she can take her pick of all the best roles. I think she has the potential for legendary talent that will rival some of her contemporaries... Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer & Gwyneth Paltrow.

I can't think of very many actresses I'd rather watch...
