Born on May 24th, 1960 in Redruth, England.  5' 6'' Tall.

Kristin attended Cheltenham Ladies College after her father’s death, but dropped out when she was 16. She spent some time in a convent before moving on to the Central School of Speech and Drama, where she studied to be a teacher. However teaching just wasn’t in her, so she secretly changed her major to Drama.

She left home at the age of 19 to work as an au pair in Paris.

She studied acting at L’Ecole Nationale des Arts et Techniques de Theatres.

She is currently married to François Oliviennes, a French obstetrician. They live in a 19th century country house on the Left Bank of Paris with their 8 year old daughter, Hannah, their 5 year old son, Joseph, and their two year old son George.
